The UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE) will organise a memorial lecture entitled ‘The postgraduate research landscape in Europe: trends and drivers’. This event will take place on 9 November, hosted by the British Academy in London.
On this occasion, Professor Barbara Dooley, Deputy President of University College Dublin and EUA-CDE Steering Committee member, will discuss the trends and drivers that have influenced the doctoral education landscape in Europe in recent years. Her remarks will address factors such as funding and financial pressures, as well as how global competition and the skills agenda will continue to evolve, shaping the future of doctoral education and driving universities to adapt.
The lecture is free to attend with registrations ending on Thursday, 9 November. For more information, please visit this page.
